Early Fall Coffee

Maddie was back on the road again, and that's all good - the other guy's insurance company called, and the ball is rolling for us to get a certain amount of money so we can get the car fixed up again.  Maddie drove off to taekwondo tonight, all on her own, and she didn't have any trouble whatsoever.  The more she drives out there, the more comfortable she gets.

This morning before we got the call from the insurance company, I dropped her off - and picked her up.  That wasn't too cool, and I sure paid for that one!  But she was back in school and she's doing well, challenged by her calculus class and maybe looking at classes a little more optimistically than she did during high school.

We had some big time thunderstorms coming through today, all part of that super humid weather pattern.  Hard to believe we have fall coming officially in one month.  Around here it takes a little longer for that cooler weather to arrive, and stay.  But in the meantime, it's pleasant enough out there in the evenings, watching the hummingbirds perch there to take long sips from the feeder.

We got a delivery in the mail, our usual Bones fall coffee flavors!  Of course, we love Frog's Breath.  It is my favorite flavored coffee of all time  But all of these flavors are so good.  The Apple Cider one is a favorite of Maddie's, and Army of Dark Chocolate is really rich and delicious.  Really, they're all good, and between that and the Monster Cereals, we're all on board for starting the fall season a little early.   It'll be great to have those now, and on top of that we're enjoying the Monster Cereals too.  It's cheating a little to start earlier, but perhaps we're just ready for fall.  I've already been enjoying this pumpkin spice flavored protein drink, an absolutely delicious filler.

Anyway, we did our reading tonight about the Band with Rocks in It, and then after that we said our prayers.  Time for some sleep.
