March Madness FCY Night

This is the scratch board project that Maddie has been working on, and it's looking pretty good  It's of Rocket Raccoon, or Ranger Rick, or RJ, or whatever you want to call him.  This might be the very raccoon that climbed on our porch the other night and manhandled (or racoonhandled) the plastic tub that contained birdseed, gnawing away at the handle so it could get to the food inside.  In which case, this is more like a wanted poster for a raccoon.  Whatever raccoon it might be, the image itself is looking well done at the moment, very nice!

And here's a picture of random accident Maddie added, a photo taken from the bus ride home of a three car accident.

And this is a robot or person or aliens created with objects found around the science lab.  Soon it will come to life and begin the slow and arduous process of world domination.  But it all started here, folks.

And these are pictures taken of a security camera at Wal-Mart.  We figured if they could take pictures of us, we'll take pictures of their devices taking pictures, just to show 'em.  Show 'em what, I'm not entirely sure.  At this ping, I can't remember exactly what we were even in Wal-Mart for.  I think it was to pick up some pizza for Maddie and... oh yeah!  I just remembered:  gluten-free pie crust for Pi Day.  It's coming up soon, and apparently Wal-Mart's grocery department is the only place that I can reliably find gluten-free pie crust.  Anyway, we picked up a few things there on our way to FCY Night.  Which is what this daily entry is entitled;  "March Madness FCY Night."  Maddie titled it that because tonight was part of that series at FCY.  She had a much better night tonight, a great time with friends and a great night overall.  She's pretty glad to got to FCY, and I'm not sure if she ever misses it.  Even tonight, we were doing something else first - a Team Edge performance.  But we dropped by Wal-Mart and then over to the church in time for FCY.  As for the Team Edge performance, it was for the younger aspiring taekwondo students.  Maddie and the rest of the team showed up to a packed house - I mean, there weren't any parking places left!  There were so many students there, and there was a lot of noise as Team Edge did a fantastic routine that left everyone cheering.

It was a good day though.  We got home and of course we made time for episode two of season three of "The Mandalorian," which features Mandalore again, or at least what's left of it.  It was another great chapter to this ongoing adventure, and lo!  It features R5-D4 again!  One of the very first Star Wars action figures EVER, and here it is once again, rolling into action.  At least reluctantly rolling into action.  It was really nice to see this homage, which is one of the reason we old school Star Wars fans love this series.

Anyway, we had time for reading after that, just a little, and time for prayers too.  Tomorrow is school, and another Team Edge performance.  So we got to bed promptly, and got a good night's rest!
