Beyond the Wardrobe

Look at this graphic that Camille is working on for our Narnia series.  We don't have a title yet, although that's the one I first thought of at the moment.  It's somewhat of a placeholder until we think of something else, although it's not too bad.  Narnia is coming in December, although we've got quite a bit of reading to do to get there!

Today was KidPak, of course, and we were all there following the "Path of the Warrior," which has been fun to do.  Scheduled today were the baptisms upstairs, and two of our cast members were baptized, one in service on stage, and Maddie's friend Nia got baptized after service in the outdoor pool with the rest of her family.  We raced out there to see that, all the other cast members on hand to watch the family's big moment.

After church today, Maddie and had a meeting to go to for the camp, but I wound up spending a lot of time helping the youth team prepare for camp and we just decided to skip the meeting and go get a bite to eat.  The two of us went off to Buffalos, which we don't get to go to very often.  But we had wings of course, and hot sauce too.  It was good food, but sloooooooow.  

We got home and spent the rest of the day at home.  Maddie was working on her studies, as AP World History takes a good bit of time to take notes for.  She spent a lot of time on that. 

It was a quiet day the rest of the day, but it was a nice day.  We read from our book, and we said our prayers too.  After tucking everyone in, it was time to get some sleep.
