Reunion

We got to play as President G today, which was somewhat of a thrill.  Daddy was really good with Street Fighter V today, which surprised me because I hadn't played this new version of the classic fighting game series.  But today I had success with this character and others, especially Zangief in his Christmas outfit.

This was hands-down my favorite character, and easily the one I was most successful with.  Plus, it's just hilarious to be yelling out "Ho, ho, ho" as you do a 720 on someone.

A bit of explanation: we had a reunion this afternoon.  Daddy went up to visit with some friends from high school, and we basically spent the afternoon playing video games and talking.  This was a nice time together.

There was also filming for Summer Xtreme today, some hilarious relay races with inflatable mascot characters.  This stuff is madness, and it's hilarious.  I think the kids are going to love it - this is such a simple idea, and easy to film.  But the concept behind it is so full of fun and energy, it'll be a win for everyone.  It's going to be a great year at Summer Xtreme!

Meanwhile, Madison and Mommy were together today.  It was girl talk day, just the two of them spending time together for a while, which was pleasant for both of them.  Daddy got home a little later, and we picked up with the reading tonight from this Star Wars book, reading about these characters who fly Starfortress Bombers.  It's not the most exciting book, but Madison's very much into it, and it serves as a backdrop to this last movie somewhat.

There were a lot of things going on today - we're entering a busy season with Summer Xtreme preparation.  But it was good to meet up with some old friends and catch up.  And it's always good to get home to see my girls.
