Flipping Madison!

Maddie was at SkyZone this afternoon for training.  No, it wasn't for fun necessarily.  Instead, it was for training.  Yes, training.  Nothing more.  She and quite a few of the others of Team Edge were using Spring Break to get away from the studio and head down to a trampoline park for some pretty good training.  It was a great afternoon of fun training with Team Edge, a trip down to Gwinnett County for a few hours.  And yes, there was actually some training going on too, but it was a lot of fun as well.  Maddie was getting more and more comfortable doing a flip, which you can see her nailing above, including the superhero landing.

Meanwhile Mom and I are moving things down into a new prop room, an enterprise that will take another day or two.  This is all simultaneous to a new paint job of the entire lower floor of the church, turning things to a bright white.  A lot of changes going on.  We're still cleaning up after Easter too.

And that includes our Easter baskets too - there are plenty of jelly beans to clean up!  We were eating sweets again, but it's only natural because tonight we finished off our "Wonkafest" with a viewing of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," the Tim Burton version, which we also like a lot.  All three of these movies have been fun to watch, so much so that we were checking out the supplementary material on all of them too, a little behind-the-scenes of each movie.  I think I'll wear my "Wonka" shirt tomorrow.

We also watched the latest "X-Men '97," of course, wrapping up a good day.  Maddie had a lot of fun.  We read tonight a short story about the Tonnika Sisters, characters that are so obscure that I don't think they have action figures - now that's obscure.  We said our prayers after that, and were ready for bed.  Mom and I worked a lot today and are pretty zonked!

One note - we have at least five baby sea monkeys in the tank, the next generation.  We're keeping an eye on them, but they seem to be doing okay.  This is all from that packet we put in a year ago, so there's a bit of excitement there on Mars!
