FCY After Easter

Cooler weather today after the storms rolled through last night.  They were rougher in other areas, but we still got some wind and a few heavy showers late - or early, depending on your perspective.  

Maddie got to go to FCY tonight while that was going on.  She was with some friends, some of our cast from the Easter production in fact.  Spring Break is going on, so numbers were a little low tonight as a lot of folks are away on vacation or just relaxing.  Mom and I were not relaxing this week, or catching up on anything, as once again a lot of poor planning and bad communication had us moving things around at the last minute.  Again.  Ultimately Mom was working late with me tonight to move a lot of things around again, the third time this year.  You get beaten down by this stuff.

Tonight we were watching two episodes of "The Bad Batch" that dropped, and things are heading to a dramatic conclusion in that show.  It was a Star Wars night!  We sat and watched those just before bed, followed by reading a so-so short story with Boba Fett that presumably is there to explain why he's hanging around Jabba the Hutt in Mos Eisley during "A New Hope."  After that, prayers, and it's time for bed!
