Mobile Bowling

Ah, mobile bowling!  Here's Maddie and a friend at FCY United tonight, both trying out some bowling ... inside a trailer!  Yes, it's a bowling alley inside a trailer parked in the parking lot of the church.  It was certainly something unique, that's for sure.  What you're seeing is two alleys here inside a truck, and it's a fun idea.  I got a spare!

So tonight was a FCY United Night, which meant that we had all the Eastern Coast campuses joining us for at the Gainesville Campus for a big night together.  There were street tacos and icees, but biggest draw of the evening was getting to see Uncle Reggie return.

It's that season again as Forward is getting closer.  Maddie loved, loved, loved this night at FCY, and I was glad to hear she had such a great time.  She spoke of it all the way home, and then some!

It was so packed she sat up in the balcony.  I believe there were 900 youth there tonight, which is great to see.  It was a special night!

We did have a little time to watch "Bad Batch" tonight, and things are gearing up for the series finale, as our main characters are heading to Mount Tantiss finally.  We had enough time to read a short story "From a Certain Point of View," an epic poem from the point of view of Emperor Palpatine.  We said our prayers, and got to bed fairly later tonight, but it was a pretty awesome night.
