Mommy collects various snow globes, and I would imagine she would snap this one up immediately.
Today was another work day for Daddy, who spent much of his time writing about Elvis, while Mommy got to go out and do more shopping with Madison.
Madison enjoyed her computer again today and is getting really good at it. Just this morning she was matching up pictures of musical instruments, and even navigating from menu to menu to play the different activities with each cartridge. In fact, she even knows how to change the cartridges for the games. We didn't actually take time to show her this - she learned it by watching us.
These games she's playing are good for her. There are motor skills involved, where Madison clicks and drags objects using hand and eye coordination. There are also language skills involved - and there is also the sound of giggling from her playroom from time to time, as she watches characters do silly things. For example, when all the puzzle pieces were put together in one particular game, all the characters would start dancing.
Speaking of dancing, it's time for sugar plums to dance in our heads as we all head off to bed. Only nine more sleeps 'til Christmas!
