Christmas Party

Madison went to a Christmas party at the church tonight - there was a puppet show for the children and a lot of activities as well. This was for the younger kids in preschool, while Daddy entertained the hundreds of kids down the hall in first grade through sixth. It was a big night!

Madison looked very nice today in her Christmas outfit Mommy had specially picked out. She wore her reindeer antlers as well, which added a nice touch! She also had a red and white bow in her hair, which just made her look beautiful as always.

We had time for a quick dinner tonight in the restaurant at the church. Christmas music played in the background, while the three of us ate a quick meal. It's those little moments you remember - I'm glad we took time out of a really busy day to eat a meal together away from it all. I remember just looking across the table at my family and thinking about how blessed I am.

It was a big day, actually. Madison has been very patient as we helped get the church ready for Christmas. She ran up to all the light displays and pointed out all of the lights (there are a lot of trees and lights throughout the church). Of course, she saw the train and told us what it was again too!

She's still the center of attention when she comes in - and she's still a lot of fun for everyone there. She has such a beautiful smile!
