Inheritance Shimmer

Tonight we started a brand new Kingdom Keepers book, part of a new series called "Kingdom Keepers Inheritance."  The first book here is called "The Shimmer," and we started it out tonight with no knowledge at all about what will happen in this book, except for an understanding that the original Kingdom Keepers are older and even with kids, and that now their kids are ready for an adventure.  Or are they ready?  We'll find out soon enough!  It was just like old times, picking up with these characters and this author, and already Maddie is into the story, as am I.  It's good to be back.

We had a decent day today.  Maddie had taekwondo, of course.  I was picking her up at school in the car line, and we were off to that earlier class tonight at the studio.  One fun thing is an item that arrived in the mail - a t-shirt for her Taylor Swift concert experience upcoming.  She's got an outfit all planned out, and we're not that far away from the big day.  Already these tickets are going up in value substantially.  As of right now, our tickets are worth about $2000 a piece, which is crazy.  I mean really.

Maddie and I were playing some Disney Infinity tonight, plugging in the "Inside Out" game for a bit, but we didn't have as much time due to the taekwondo and all.  We had a great day today though - Mom and I were over at Cracker Barrel for a bit, shopping around there too.  Mom found a few birthday items for herself, in fact.  Before that we were at the chiropractor, a much-needed visit after the Easter production.

It was a good day today.  We're a bit tired, and we'll sleep well.  Perhaps we'll even wake up as holograms in a Disney park.  Or perhaps not...
