It's Wednesday. We put the sea monkey eggs in the Martian Aquarium, and already we have Sea Monkeys on Mars! You can see these with the naked eye, several of them just flittering about the alien landscape, and if you use the magnifying glass you can see more details already. And this is only day one - the Sea Monkeys will grow and grow until they're roughly the size of a car. Okay, that's an exaggeration. They'll be slightly bigger. I think I read that they get 1/2 to even 3/4 of an inch. Which is amazing to consider, actually.
Anyway, we have our new pets. It's going to be time to name them. I think I'll name them Solomon, Frisky, Slagator, Janice, Howard, Dexter, Killmonger, Perry, and Quarg. They seem to be happy on Mars, which might be a surprise for them given that they were possibly expecting to be in an ocean here on Earth. But Mars is okay too, so long as they can get regularly fed, which package #3 will take care of in a few days. We're happy to have some new pets!
It was a quiet day today. Maddie had FCY tonight, and it was a "youth takeover" night where a student was speaking, and other youth members were doing the worship set, and other students were taking over the game segment tonight, which used large inflatable suits for the competitors. It was fun, as you can see from these pics Maddie was taking.
When we got home, we had to watch our series. We saw "The Manadalorian" tonight, and it was another heartbreaker at the end, a loss of one of our favorite characters again. You're killing us, Filoni!
We're fighting mad now though, ready for the season finale where hopefully our main characters can cause some serious mayhem.
Speaking of mayhem, Cohen the Barbarian is still on his way to Cori Celesti, as are our astronaut heroes Rincewind, Leonard, and Captain Carrot. The story features a lot of the characters of Discworld, and it's shorter. But it's been a lot of fun - we should be through with it in just a few days. We read tonight before bed, the whole plush entourage down there with us, and then we said our prayers, ready for a good night's rest. NOTE: We made reservations for a vacation upcoming. Also, we apparently have to get some new clothing items for Maddie for the upcoming concert. Lots of stuff upcoming!
