Free Ice Cream Day is here again! I got home from work, and made a U-turn right back into the car again, this time with Maddie so we could venture out to the nearest Dairy Queen, which is actually a new one very close by! The two of us waited in a pretty decent line, as there were plenty of folks also excited about free ice cream. And it was worth it! Soft serve ice cream for the ride home!
It was a good day today, although a cold one. Maddie was at school of course, both at Chestatee and then East Forsyth. I think she had a good day. I was at a few trainings today, and then finishing up a skit for Sunday, and then working on a devotional for the new surfing-themed series, "Hang 10." Lots of little things.
Mom was recovering. She was dealing with costumes, and sure enough, there's a new one to make now. Lots of those last-minute things, but such is the way of these productions. Easter is less than two weeks away.
Tonight's feature was "One Night with the King." This is because Purim is coming up very soon, this weekend in fact. After seeing Haman get dragged off, it was pretty much time for bed. We read, and said our prayers. Time to retire for the night!
