Red Flag/Green Flag

Maddie had some fun tonight at FCY playing a game of red flag and green flag, where hypothetical friends and possibly future dates say things or do things and the big question for the audience is... red flag or green flag?  All the answers vary, and I'd love to see what this one question was because Maddie is the only one in this side with a red flag held up!  Anyway, it looked like fun.

*Everyone on the other side had red flags up! I thought there were more red flags on my side! ~Maddie’s pov*

It was a good night at FCY, with a powerful testimony from a student and a lot of engagement with the youth.  Plus the usual games and food and hanging out afterwards.  It was fun.  Maddie enjoyed it, but was ready to get home for an early night's rest - we've got an early morning tomorrow.  She has to be there at the school for a final test, and I've got a trip down to Dacula.  Still, we made time for reading, zooming through this latest book and trying to figure out how Storey Ming now had Mattie Weaver's powers, but other than that, the story has been intriguing as we race through each small chapter.

It was a decent day with planning for Summer Xtreme and even a bit of Camp FCY.  We have squirrel number twenty-three dropped off, yes that's 23 squirrels now.  I'm really not sure how to process that, and there's still many more out there in our woods.  I was writing our skits a bit, and I think it's going to be fun to work in some of our old science projects from so long ago.  Those were great fun, but there's one that didn't get completed and that was a DIY slime kit.  Yes, I'm working slime into that skit Sunday, all so I can make slime.  Believe it or not, we have not made slime here yet, so that will be a fun little project!

Speaking of "science in the home," our sea monkeys are doing just great!  The little guys and gals are swimming all over in there, thriving even more so than any other attempt at that we've ever tried before.

Okay, time for bed.  We have an early morning tomorrow.  We said our prayers, brought the plush entourage down the hall, and we're off to sleep!
