Syndrome

It was another incredible morning at KidPak, as we continued our series dedicated to "The Incredibles" with a morning themed around the latest character, Syndrome!

This was a fun one!  We've done services around Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Dash, Violet and Frozone.  And now here's one about Buddy Pine, otherwise known as Syndrome.  The message was entitled, "Who's Your Buddy?"  It was about looking up to the right people, and remembering we're all only human!

Afterwards, we were back home to collapse, as the wear-and-tear of the Summer Xtreme weeks has really taken a toll on us.  All three of us were ready for an afternoon nap, really.

But Daddy decided to do some writing for July's movie messages, which involved a bit of research, meaning we watched the movie "Trolls."  Daddy was even able to write out the entire message, and that makes two down, and three to go.

Later on, Madison and Daddy went to the world of "Portals 2," and I have to say that Madison is a very bright girl.  She was solving a few of the problems before Daddy could - it's a very interesting game to think through!  And of course, all the while, there's GLaDOS taunting us with hilarious commentary.  It was fun though.

Another thing we were doing was starting on some of Daddy's old X-Men comics from some time ago.

If we're reading through all of Daddy's X-Men comics, this might take a while.  Madison did enjoy it though - we read through about two of them, and now there's a cliffhanger until tomorrow's reading.  We'll pick up again tomorrow and the next day and the next... these are great books!

Anyway, it was a restful sort of day.  We read from "The Austere Academy," and said our prayers late tonight before going to bed.  We're thankful for a great last two weeks, and also thankful for getting to sleep in tomorrow.  We have a couple days to take a breather before it all starts up again, but until then, we'll be taking it easy.  Good night!
