Gwinnett Next

It was a pretty good work day, as we were getting ready for Summer Xtreme in Gwinnett now.  We were loading trucks and unloading trucks, and dealing with some pretty intense heat.  But with intense heat came a huge and violent deluge of rain that suddenly cooled things off.  The rain persisted a little longer than usual, but nobody was complaining about it, as the temperature was dropping so much that things became a bit more bearable.

We were making name tags today, and Madison was doing some coloring while Daddy was creating and printing handouts, printing scripts and getting video imagery ready for round two of Summer Xtreme.  We've matched up Madison with her friends in the Supers tribe - these are friends that couldn't come last week, but are here this week.  It'll be fun for her - she's ready to have a good time once more, although admittedly, Summer Xtreme in Gwinnett isn't as ginormous as the one in Gainesville.  Still, it's immensely fun and will be hopefully easier on the Gainesville staff.  We'll see on that end, as only time will tell.  For the time being, all is well, and everyone is looking forward to a great time.

We got Madison home early enough for a good night's rest, and did some more work towards writing and getting audio tracks and visuals nailed down.  It should be a great week, and once this one is over with, we'll have a pretty large load off our shoulders.

This is camp #3 for Madison for those of you keeping score.  We're pretty blessed to be able to have Madison in both of the Summer Xtreme camps, and she's very much into both of them. She has her little cape on, and her handmade signs that boast of her group's winning talents and energy.  She's excited about it, and having a wonderful summer already!
