Back to the Links

Tonight, Daddy's putting skills were anointed.  I have no other explanation.  We went to play mini-golf tonight - all of us!  Madison went, along with Mommy, Daddy, Ba-Ba, Nana - and three friends from work, Chris, Josh and Kellan.  We went to the Oaks again, just down the street from the church, and a welcome break from all the work of setting up a new series.  The night was cool, just perfect for this sort of thing - but Daddy was heating things up on the links.  I am usually terrible at this game, but it all started out with a hole-in-one on the first one, and it never let up.  I can't explain it.  One time, I hit the ball into some gravel - but the next shot, I chipped it off the gravel, and straight across the green and into the hole.  It was one of those shots you only see in the movies.  Followed by another hole-in-one.  I could do no wrong - at one point the ball went where I didn't aim it, and yet it still found itself inches from the hole.  I was ten under par at the end, and wanted to bronze that golf club and golf ball!

The rest of the day was spent at the office - you can see above another small break where we were posing with some of the leftover shutter shades from the previous weekend.  Madison went straight to the coffee station, and got to work straightening things up there.  Despite the mess all around in the office (as we set up for a new series), there will at least be a clean coffee station!

We're all-hands-on-deck today for the new series.  We've been doing lots of filming, and writing, and stuff with the stage, and ... well, the list goes on and on.  Lots left to do, but we're all aboard and sailing off for another great new series here.  Heave-ho!
