Madison loves popcorn. If we wanted to go see a movie that she wasn't interested in, she'd still go if there was popcorn. It's a deal maker, and also somewhat of an anchor for a girl who occasionally tends to squirm a lot. Simply plant a big tub of popcorn in front of her, and she's there like a rock! As we're doing a series that's "at the movies," it's only natural that we would have a great big popcorn costume. This one's a little big for Madison, but she still likes wearing it around. She sort of sidesteps here or there, waddling about with two hands projecting out the side, minus the arms!

Today was preparation for the big service tomorrow, the opening service for "Showtime" at KidPak. Madison was on hand at the office, as was Mommy, who was working on props and the display case. It'll be an interesting month, that's for sure.
One thing we're joining in again is our church's annual fast. It also begins tomorrow, which means twenty-one very different days. We do this at the beginning of the year to give the first of the year to God, where we spend more time praying and less time eating. Though we give up meats and sweets, Mommy does a very good job providing wondrous variety to our diets. She's been doing research for some unique culinary cusine, which Daddy is of course looking forward to. As far as Madison goes, she eats as normal this month, until she has a better understanding of what it all means. Although she has gotten a slight explanation from us, and her teacher, Ms. Halston.
Street Luge: it's a funny moment where Madison was playing on someone else's cell phone, sprawled out across the "luge" with her friends Dora and Perry the Platypus. For the second day in a row, this was her mode of transportation throughout the office.
We worked late as usual, and went to bed late again. But not as late as it could have been, and again, at least Mommy and Madison were there as well. We were all working together as a family for the church, making things happen, and helping change the world, one kid at a time!
