Today the zoo came to KidPak Discovery, as Madison and her friends got to meet all sorts of interesting creatures like a capuchin monkey and an armadillo named Arlo, which you can see above. He's curled up somewhat, and Madison got a chance to pet him. Maybe we'll be getting a pet armadillo soon! Okay, maybe not.
Here's Madison's class in a neat photo Mommy took. She had everyone lined up and jumping - it turned out rather well. Madison is second from the right. She's been missing Daddy this week - it really tugs on your heart when she comes up and gives a long hug, saying, "I miss you!" I miss you too, sweetie! Tonight, Daddy went to bed early: the idea was to wake up around 11:00 pm in order to come in and get started on work. It's almost like a third shift here (only we don't go home in the morning!). Daddy went to bed around 5:30 or so, and it was cute: Madison tucked me in, and quietly snuck out the door, pretty much reversing our nightly role.
We're doing a lot of late nights here, but the week is turning out to be the best Summer Xtreme ever. We've only got one more day to plan - back to work here!
