SX12 - DAY FIVE

So today was the last day of Summer Xtreme, and everything turned out okay.  In fact, this was the best one yet - we had so many 3D movies that we made for this event, and the skits were fun - cream pies everywhere.  Daddy wrote the skits, some videos, and all the messages - one of which he actually delivered today.  They were all based on the concept of 3D, which I think we handled incredibly.  It's a bittersweet moment when things go as they did.  People bonded, children bonded.  Today's service was a long one, with worship going on and on, the children's voices singing loud and strong.

Madison's group had a good time down the hall, seeing the same puppet show as last year.  She loved it - she remembered getting wet last year because a naughty shark kept spitting water at everyone.  And yes, she got wet again!

She had a great week, but we're all pretty tired and ready to get things back to normal.  But for many of these children, their lives will never be the same again.  Next year, Madison joins the older kids in our group - and that will be a big moment.  It's a year away, but it never hurts to start planning early!
