Sneezy

Today as Daddy was carrying Madison, he pretended he was about to sneeze.

Daddy: "Ah, ah, ah, ah..."

That's when Madison suddenly puts her index finger just under his nose to stop the sneeze! It was a fun little game that we started, doing it over and over again - back and forth. Sometimes Madison was the one who was about to sneeze, but Daddy's finger stopped her just in time as well.

The funny thing about all this is: where exactly did she learn that? The only thing we could think of is the dwarf Sneezy from the movie "Snow White." On several occasions, he's about to sneeze when all the others are able to stop him by putting their fingers just below his nose. She's only seen "Snow White" twice, and the last time was about a month or so ago. And it isn't like anyone else puts their finger under a nose to stop a sneeze! It's just funny the memory she has sometimes. She is so attentive to details like that!

We went down to Gwinnett today to look for costumes and such for our Xtreme series, and wound up doing pretty well for ourselves. For lunch, we ate at PF Chang's again - we still had a gift card from Christmas to use, and were quite surprised that it had $50 on it! Whoa! This was a gift from Ye-Ye and Nana, and the great thing is we can use it again soon. Madison didn't eat as much, but still had a good time. Daddy and Mommy had a great lunch, and Madison made quite an impression on the staff there as usual. She waved goodbye when it was time to leave, and everyone waved back!

While out, we picked up another educational game for her Click-Start computer - it was a Dora the Explorer game. Madison enjoys this game immensely! We got home late and plugged it in, and Madison had a blast with all the games on this cartridge. The one you see pictured here has Dora hopping from stone to stone, trying to go to the letter that is called out. Turtles sink and rise, and lilly pads move left and right, so it becomes almost like a game of Frogger. The funny thing is this: Madison has a wicked little sense of humor sometimes. Over and over again, she liked plunging Dora into the water. SPLASH! Giggle, giggle, giggle! It was a mischievous little laugh - Madison knows very well how to play the game. It's just so funny to her to send Dora into the water over and over again. What a little stinker!

Another item we found for Madison will be a future blog topic for sure: roller skates! We found some Disney Princess ones that can strap on to your shoes. They came with knee pads, and I know during this Xtreme series that we'll have to try 'em out soon.

It was still cold outside today, but we had fun indoors. We even dropped by the Disney Store, where Mommy got for Madison all kinds of great Spring clothing. It doesn't feel like it, but Spring is on it's way!

"Winter, slumbering in the open air, wears on its smiling face a dream... of spring. Ciao."
