Maddie was slashing and swinging her sword around tonight at taekwondo, still not her favorite weapon, but she's doing well with it regardless. I need to get her to do some practice with a lightsaber after this - I keep forgetting that!
Her snowmen have probably seen their last day today, as you can see above. They look like very interesting snow sculptures now. We had the threat of snow, but it didn't quite time out well. The rain came first while the temperatures were warmer, and then the cold came in afterwards. It was quite cold, actually. But no new snow this time.
Maddie had a good day at school, which of course had a quick turnaround as we were racing off to taekwondo. I was doing finishing touches on certain parts of this weekend's KidPak launch of "Get a Clue," and writing some letters for FCY and KidPak too. Maddie is reading "Romeo and Juliet," which makes me want to watch "Gnomeo and Juliet" again, and given the fact that we're in this new mystery series, maybe we should check out the sequel too, "Sherlock Gnomes."
We read tonight from "The Syndrome," which is moving along nicely. We prayed after that too, and soon after, we were off to sleep under about fifty pounds of blankets. It's cold out there!
