Fried Green Tomatoes

Mommy made friend green tomatoes, and actually used the tomatoes from our garden.  These were gluten-free, and they were really good!  It was a crazy big dinner, with stuffed mushrooms, a salad, and these friend green tomatoes as well.

Here's Daddy again for today's Zoom meeting.  I went with the Perry Platypus hat and the Phineas & Ferb backdrop, which actually turned out great!  The meeting itself was good too, of course, as we were talking about returning to KidPak in September, and an outdoor service at the church upcoming.

We had taekwondo today, and that was nice as well.  Madison was with a few other students, some of which who were testing for various belts.  That's this week, where all the students were finally earning a new rank after a long summer of training.  Madison will be using a staff next week for sure, so we were doing a bit of shopping online for that today.

Tonight we did watch an episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." again, moving along with the framework, and Madison anxious to find out what happens next time and again.  But before we did that, we watched "The 3 Worlds of Gulliver," one of the only Harryhausen movies that I've never seen.  The book "Diggers" made references to it when we were reading that, so I thought it was time to introduce Madison to a classic tale that we hadn't seen yet.  I think I watched an animated version of this some time ago, but this version was great too.  Mommy and I love these old movies.

We had some super heavy storms today, more pink on the radar, with very loud cracks of thunder that shook the house.  It passed quickly though, and we were okay through it.  We read tonight from our devotional, and read from "Allegiance" as well, and then prayed together.  It was a good day, one where we were packing quite a bit... tomorrow should be a good day too!
