Don't report us! Actually, this isn't a place of business secretly setting up appointments to do nails. Madison was wanting to have her nails done, and Mommy is pretty good at that, so an appointment was set up this afternoon for a nice little session. Mommy put the mask on for the picture, just to make it look like a salon. But no, the smell wasn't that bad.
Daddy was outside pressure washing the back deck, and though it took a little while, it turned out really well. The weather outside during this entire pandemic has been beautiful, although slightly windy. But the temperatures are cool and the skies clear and sunny. It's so ironic because lately all the parks and outdoor places to visit have been closed. But at least we were out doing a little work today. Up north, it's actually snowing. So, at least we could go out a little if we wanted to. The front porch is nice on days like these.
It was a quiet day today, with birthday wishes still pouring in for Mommy. Madison and Daddy were playing the game "Trouble" a few times, and there was also a bowl of ice cream this afternoon. Later on, we watched "Raiders of the Lost Ark" as part of our Indiana Jones marathon. That's my favorite of the movies.
Of course tonight we read from our book, and we prayed too. There's been a lot going on, but there's a lot to be thankful for as well. Here are all the people who sent pictures to Mommy, wishing her a happy birthday!
