Adjustments

No call from the adjuster today, though the representative on the phone said it would be between now and Thursday.  So we'll wait a bit on that, but in the meantime, we went to the chiropractor to get a check-up.  We were due this week anyway, but we figured dropping by today was a good idea after the car accident.  You never know if things get jarred one way or another sometimes, hence the spine inspection.  And, as suspected, there was ultimately nothing wrong from the chiropractor's point of view.  Indeed, Mommy and Madison probably walked away completely unscathed, a fact that Daddy is unceasingly grateful for.

As mentioned several times earlier, Madison loves the chiropractor's office.  She loves the back massage device, and also loves being the assistant, setting things up and directing people to their proper places - and occasionally using their equipment.  But most of all, she loves Doctor Williams.  It's like a tickle fight every time she goes there - some of her hardest laughter comes with a visit to the chiropractor!

Today was a day to recover.  Which we did, of course.  There were certainly some tasks to do, and yes, there was ballet as well.  We raced over to ballet after our visit to the chiropractor, and got there just in time.  The clearance of all the trees on highways slowed us down - DOT crews are busy this season, removing all the fallen timber along the roads.  There is a lot to contend with there.

Madison is still reading her Weirder School books, and doing homework as well.  She did not finish her piano though, which is something we'll have to catch up with in the next week.  You can understand though, as we've had an interesting week to say the least.

But Daddy didn't have as much time tonight with Madison, as there was another Easter production practice to attend.  That's just a few weeks away, and it looks like we'll be quite busy that week.  The sad news is that spring break might have to be a 'stay-cation,' but we'll see how things turn out as we get closer.  Being down one car is a tough situation, and of course there is the money situation to address as well.  Already we've cancelled certain reservations, and might have to tone things down a bit.  But again, at least we're all alive and walking around.  Things could certainly have been quite a bit worse.
