Daddy was getting out of the car, and getting something in the trunk - and look what I found in the car trunk! Madison likes to stick her head to see through this tiny hole, but it was odd to hear a voice coming from inside the trunk!
Today was a work day for Daddy, and a work day for Mommy and Madison as well. They were shopping for one more costume piece for our sea turtle character that we will see tomorrow at KidPak. Daddy worked into the night again, although nothing as late as last weekend. Still, he was quite exhausted upon returning home - an early night's rest indeed. Josh spent the night with us, but Daddy didn't even wait up for him. Daddy was fast asleep by at least 10:00, which is pretty early for a Saturday night.
Madison has been playing the LEGO toys lately, including our new mascot character. She's got them in a new little apartment, something she got from Goodwill today. It is also a store, so she calls it an "apartment store." I suppose that fits, right?
Anyway, it was a work day, so not much new there. We were working on videos, one of which involves rolling a zorb up a slip n' slide that is covered with soap and running water. The participants found the challenge impossible - it was too slick to move forward. This proved to be pretty funny - we'll see the edited video next weekend.
Daddy was in the zorb. We were rolling them off the side of a steep hill, with people inside. This is not recommended, actually. You really have to duck your head in, and watch those ankles. And you'll be pretty dizzy afterwards, for sure. Not that I'm speaking from experience, mind you...
