Church Help

Here's our little girl being a big help at church:  she's assisting Ms. Halston as they put pencils and our new booklets in each chair for the kids tomorrow morning.  Daddy wrote the books - they're pretty good this time around, each message somewhat based on a series of games, or some aspect of video game playing.

Madison was with us pretty much all day long today, as we got ready for the new series, "Level Up."  No doubt you'll see pictures of the stage itself in the coming days, but for now, here's a picture of the fantastic display case that Mommy put together.

As Mario would say, "Wahoo!"  We did a bit of papercraft on the bricks and the Thwomps.  The figurines are from Toys R Us this past Thursday, and the wallpaper is something Daddy found online, stretching it out to a size that wouldn't look so pixelated.  The end result is something that will get the kids stopping to take a look for the next few months - it's a great set-up!

Madison spent her time with young Matthew today, watching "Ratatouille" at one point on the big screen in the KP Jr area.  She also used her Kindle a bit to use a new application that makes collages using various images on the app, and images found in an online gallery of family pictures elsewhere.  This captivated her for the most part, as she created all kinds of scrapbooks and designs throughout the day, sharing each one with us - and asking us to spell words like "luchador" or "smiles."

This morning, Daddy met up with Jack Skellington, as he and Aunt Shain continue their quest for all kinds of Disney Infinity fun this Christmas.  The figure is in the car, joining many I'm sure Santa will be leaving for Madison under the tree.  For getting Jack at a particular store, we both got this pretty awesome poster you see above - it's a good quality material, and it's glossy too.  And it's huge!  The only thing is, Daddy can't show it to Madison for a while.  And it's not like this thing can go up anywhere in the house... but it's still pretty cool, huh?

We're big Jack Skellington fans, of course.  Madison will be meeting Jack in just a few weeks - it's a special viewing of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" on the Disney Dream.  It'll be in 3D, and it'll be while we're at Nassau.  Obviously, we can't wait...!
