Goodwill Tour

With the Fourth of July approaching, we've been reading a few patriotic books such as "Liberty's Journey," which sort of re-creates the scene at the end of "Ghostbusters 2," only on a much grander scale.  Lady Liberty leaves her island and marches across the country to see what happened to all those immigrants who came floating by to be in America.

Today was Tuesday, which means one thing:  Senior Discount Day.  Yes, if Nana and Ba-Ba are here, and it's Tuesday, then it is Senior Discount Day at Goodwill.  After a brief doctor's visit in the morning, everyone packed in the car and went on a Goodwill Tour.  Not Daddy though - he had to work.  But the rest of the family went to a few different Goodwill locations, just for fun.  And they actually came out with a lot of stuff, clothes and so forth.  They even found a few albums for the record player!

Dinner tonight was Mexican - a lot of tacos!  We watched the "Oz" movie again together, and went to bed kind of early.  Lots of fun today!
