Day two was a whole lot of fun, and the weather was perfect for a day at Frances Meadows Aquatic Center. Daddy got to swim with Madison too - we both were in the lazy river, and having fun swimming in the whirlpool. Madison was with her group for the most part, and even bravely tried the massive slide - the biggest she's ever done!
That's Daddy's head at the bottom - he was there just in time to catch her, otherwise things wouldn't go so well. I can't believe she was on this slide - she was with her group and they wanted to do it, where Madison usually wouldn't want to do this on her own. Yet there she was, probably going down because everyone else was. Later on, she said she enjoyed the slide part - it's just the water part at the bottom that gets her scared.
The service was great this morning, of course. It was actually a really good day overall, and Daddy even got enough sleep last night. Not so much this night though - still lots of work to do. One week from today, Daddy will be still in a bit of a recovery mode - although Madison's birthday party is coming up. We reserved the recreation room at the church again - nothing like having access to a free room with pool tables, air hockey tables, a playground and more...
We just have to figure out the "Brave" part of it, and get it all wrapped up in a week. But we'll get it done, that's for sure! Madison will be seven years old in just a few weeks. Can you believe it?
