SX13 - DAY FOUR

So here is Madison's group - this is one of 133 group photos that Daddy has taken.  There's a serious one (like the one above), and there's an outright goofy one as well.  It took a really long time to take all these photos, but I feel like we had it scheduled out decently (kids were eating while we were shifting groups around for the photos).

We did things differently today, because of the looming threat of bad weather.  We went outside first, and had the service later.  This worked out perfectly.  The only unusual problem was that it was sort of chilly for Madison when she got wet.  The water was cold, and the skies were a bit overcast.  Still, that didn't prevent anyone from having fun.

ESPECIALLY when it came time to dunk Daddy in the dunk tank!  Yes, we actually did this.  Here's a shot of Madison with the ball.  Can she hit the target and send Daddy falling into the water?

Daddy did a little bit of taunting, of course.  And Madison got a little help, of course!  She threw one ball and missed.  But that next ball hit the target right on!

Whoa!  That water was COLD!  Madison squealed as she watched Daddy plunge into the water and go underneath.

Daddy looked over at Madison and said, "You got me wet!"  Madison looked over at Daddy, and just laughed.  Here she is, laughing and laughing.  This might be my favorite picture of Summer Xtreme now:

She's got a little mean-streak in her sometimes!  She dunked Daddy first, but then a few others did shortly afterwards.  I honestly don't know how people can keep getting dunked over and over again though - especially in that brutally cold water!

The day ended with a remarkable service, one with great videos, a funny skit, and of course the worship.  The music and worship has been spot on, and one of the great things about Summer Xtreme is that we can just take our time with that portion, because we have that luxury.  The kids are so authentic with their worship, and Madison was right there amongst them, sort of taking it all in.  It's great to see - it's wonderful to see.
