Step into the Spotlight

Madison spent the day with Mommy and Daddy at church preparing for our newest series, "Showtime." For the entire month of October, we'll be looking at movies like "Lemonade Mouth," "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader," "Soul Surfer," and even "Megamind," and finding some interesting Biblical lessons within each one. Here she is, just before we started going over the lighting - as you can see, she belongs in the spotlight!

The weather outside is quite breezy and cool, a clear sign that fall is here. Of course, it's October 1st, and it technically should be here. It's just that we had a spot of warm weather that kind of fooled everyone for a bit this week. It's what you call an Indian Summer. I looked up the origin of this phrase, and none of the origins of this phrase exactly paint Indians in a positive light. To that end, I probably should be 12.5% offended, as I have about that much Cherokee in my blood. But I'll get over it!

We'll be here late tonight, working away - Madison went home a bit ago. She had a full day here, being helpful and playful at the same time. Everyone loves Madison!
