Madison has been practicing with scissors lately, with lots of help from Mommy. She's gotten very good at cutting straight lines - as evidenced by some of the homework examples below. This first one is called "Squirrel Sequencing," which I think would be an excellent name for a rock band. Madison has to cut out the three images and glue onto a piece of paper which one comes first.
Fortunately, there's no picture of an egg next to a picture of a chicken. Because I don't think anyone knows which comes first there.
Anyway, here's a few more examples of Madison's coloring. Also note that she is tracing her name as Mommy writes it up on top. The extra "M" on this image below is a bonus signature, and maybe an early sign that Madison will be a pharmacist (as we all know what their signatures are like).
This one below is neat in that she colored the leaves first and then cut them out. The end result is a neater look for the project - although the leaves are certainly an unusual color. The weather has been weird this year, so who knows what colors will come out on the fall leaves. Or perhaps, these are leaves from the planet Neptune:
Finally, here's another similar project. It's fall and the apples have been ready to grab off the trees. Note how Mommy picks the seasonal projects, which ties things together nicely.
