Tuesday

Yes, we've taught Madison one of the oldest tricks in the book. The "point over somewhere and say 'what's that over there?'" trick. Once the victim looks in said direction, he or she is immediately tickled - or has something taken from them.

It's a classic text book maneuver. And while we're awfully proud of all the learning Madison is doing in school (tomorrow, we rediscover the letter F), this particular technique is something that every person should know.

Madison immediately tried it on Daddy: "What's that over there?"

Daddy looked, and Madison lunged to tickle him.

I couldn't be prouder!

MADISON'S BOOK CLUB

Here is a very unusual book called "Tuesday." Madison requested Daddy read this to her tonight, which is amusing because there aren't many words at all in this story. It's mostly pictures! But what pictures they are. Daddy still told the story - an interesting one where frogs suddenly are flying about on lily pads. Cue "The Flight of the Valkries" theme music now. These frogs soar across town and through some unusual locations, all during the middle of the night. Because of the late hour, not many see this amazing spectacle. In fact, only one dog really knows what happened. To his great misfortune he chooses to chase a frog - only to be chased himself by a knot of fast flying frogs (say that three times fast). Anyway, this was a good book to read. Not only because it was fun to look at, but also because today happens to be... "Tuesday."

Excuse us while we look out the windows. Don't want to miss those flying frogs!
