Daddy was thrilled with these particular pieces of installation art, which clearly show we have a child prodigy in the house. Don't believe me? Check out this piece below that made it into the High Museum:
I don't know the name of this contemporary artwork, so I shall call it "Car Wash Pieces." Or something like that. Seriously, it looks like one of those things at the car wash that dangles over your car as you drive underneath. To quote Elwood Blues, it helps "get the dead bugs off your windshield." So perhaps it is a symbolic piece of art, representing the weight of a dark burden that helps cleanse the soul... yeah, that's it.
As you can see, Madison did a few pieces of artwork today. I love the cuts, colors and layers. She's seen here, posing proudly with her creation - a sculpture of such magnitude! She's pretty happy about it too - she's not one of those temperamental moody artists. Well, at least as long as we keep giving her snacks. Anyway, clearly the inspiration was just flowing into our house! Perhaps we can market her work, and begin a movement to get her installation art hanging up next to the car wash pieces. Why not? There seems to be plenty of space on those large white walls.
"You want I should wash the dead bugs off the windshield?"
