It was movie night tonight, and we're doing some of those seasonal Fall movies along the way. You can see it's movie night at our house above, which is suddenly a part of that Roku neighborhood! Looks like all we have to do is walk outside and go next door to the theater!
Tonight's movie was "Chicken Little," mainly because we've been quoting it all baseball season - "Take the ball, don't swing!" It's one of our favorites. And any movie is better with this tasty seasonal dessert snack!
Yes, this is a pumpkin spice flavored ice cream sandwich, and yes, it's a jack-o-lantern! And yes... it's delicious. Maddie and I tore into a few of these tonight, a really sweet treat!
Tonight we were reading about Lu-tze and the rest of the characters of "The Thief of Time." Today we were working on some writing of our own, working a little towards some ideas next year. Maddie had her class tonight, helping out with cardio and huffing and puffing there. Tough stuff - really wears you out!
We closed out our day with that reading, then prayers, and after that the Plush Entourage headed back down the hall to get tucked in.
