Our Own Salad

We had some things to pick up in Braselton at the campus there, so you know something?  Why not stop by Cracker Barrel too!

Oooh, scary cow!  Or should I say "Mooo, scary cow!"  It's a highland cow ghost!

Here's something we did today:  harvest lettuce.  We cut back about half of the lettuce from our hydroponics garden and got quite a bit out of it.  Next, it was time to make a few salads!

Mom put these together, and yes, the tomatoes are from our garden too.  It was a really tasty meal, and even more fun knowing that we grew the lettuce and tomatoes ourselves.  There's still more in the hydroponics garden, so we'll get more soon enough.

Maddie had taekwondo tonight, and there was another Braves game today - the Braves won this one against the Nationals with a more comfortable lead score differential than normal, which means a lower heart rate!

We read tonight, said our prayers - and got some sleep.
