Time of Testing

 Another day, another testing.  Yes, we just had one Friday.  But that was RANK CAMP.  This is for the summer semester at Edge Martial arts, and so some of the kids testing actually ranked up on Friday and then tonight.  Maddie was part of that group, and of course she did outstanding.  You can see her below demonstrating her form, sparring, and of course breaking boards!

It was a good day today.  We did something important earlier in the day, and that was visit Nana again.  But it's clear there's a dilemma with her eating, or at least her lack of eating.  She looks really bad, to put it bluntly.  Her spirts are up when we're here, and she's glad of the visit.  But her friends can't get her to eat, just as we couldn't either.  Add to that her already dwindling condition, and it's just a very heavy situation that of course weighs the most on Mom.  This upcoming vacation might help lift her spirits somewhat.  Until then, here are a few pictures Maddie took with her phone of Nana today.  I'm honestly not sure how many of these pictures we have left to take, and that weighs heavily upon all of us.
