Return of the Book Fair

We were a little busy today, but we did manage to make it to the Book Fair, which had special hours after school.  There was a special movie showing tonight, one outside on the school's back lawn.  And before that, there was access to the Book Fair, which was mighty crowded.  Daddy and Madison picked up quite a few books though, so we'll have our heads in a book for quite some time after this.  Madison got a "Descendants" book, a "Ever After" book, and a couple of the books from the Origami Yoda series as well.  

Also there tonight, we had access to pizza and cotton candy, so Madison had her dinner at the school this evening as well.  Daddy… had to wait to eat.

But we did come home, and we did come home a little early, which was nice.  We were in the mood for some more LEGO dinosaurs, and thus, we advanced on to "The Lost World," which was the second of the Jurassic Park movies.  And the worst.  Fortunately, these LEGO games are really good with making things friendly for the kids - it was the same with the Lord of the Rings games.  

In any event, we were on Isla Sorna for a bit, although we didn't quite wrap things up there.  It did have a few of the jumpy moments to get Madison on edge, but it was all fun.

Mommy is doing better today than earlier.  It's a lengthy recovery process, but she's certainly on the way to being 100%, which will be great - and just in time - for this holiday season.  Tonight though, we're all getting a good night's rest.  We have a busy weekend planned, one you'll be reading about shortly…!
