So here we are at another Summer Xtreme. The difference between this one and the previous ones involves all the pre-planning and preparation. We seem so much more prepared this year, which helps with the stress levels. Sure, there were mishaps and miscalculations. But on the whole, things are much easier this year, and much more relaxed. The service went off especially well this morning, as all the videos hit the mark - and the skits did too. Daddy and his crew are on a space station, as our theme is "Tribes in Space."
And as you can see, Madison got to go to the roller skating rink again today as well. They skated for hours, and had a great time. These are the younger kids - the older ones went to Sky Zone, and got to jump around some. Although there was some initial difficulty with waivers there, they did get to jump. We at the roller skating rink didn't have to worry about such things, and got busy rolling right away.
Here's a shot of our cast for the skits this series. Notice those orange jumpsuits from NASA. We also had some messy games and lots of Tribal Wars - Madison is a Gladiator this year. The Gladiators are in first place so far, but this week is just getting started.
Speaking of which, it is back to work for Daddy and the rest of the staff. We have lots to do to get ready for tomorrow. It helps tremendously though that today went so remarkably well!
