Corn-Flavored Ice Cream

So today we had time for a little break.  So, as per our tradition, we got our ice cream at the local shop on the Old Atlanta Highway.  It's our favorite to go to after Summer Xtreme is over with, one where we can get some unique flavors, and just simply take a breather.  Mommy and Madison are above, along for the ride, although Madison is blocked out by Robbie's big head!

We tried some corn-flavored ice cream today - it was a pretty unique idea, actually.  Corn is sweet anyway, so the rationale is why not make it into an ice cream?  So with that said, we had our first vegetable-flavored ice cream today.  Next, you'll be seeing spinach-flavored ice cream and so forth.  Don't expect me to try that though.

It was a good week, although we're not 'out of the woods' yet.  We still had a service to plan for tomorrow, in fact a new series launch to do.  So that meant new videos, new skits, and new just about everything.  We got our new books, ones that Daddy is quite proud of this time around.  Madison has already read about three pages of the devotional, which is even more special.

 So Madison went home and read some more, and rested from the long week.  Daddy, meanwhile, is back to work on the new series.  Lots to do still, but with a vacation just right around the corner, things seem a bit more bearable.
