We started our newest series today - one that is brand-spanking new, and yet quite familiar to those who went to Summer Xtreme. The messages are similar, as they have a space theme to them - it's just that here, we use the same videos and messages and sort of expand on things to the entire month. It'll be a lot of fun, although we're pretty wiped out from the week. It's very difficult starting a new series the day after Summer Xtreme. Add to that the fact that KidPak is doing ANOTHER Summer Xtreme next week at Gwinnett's campus.
But today went well, particularly the second service. The actors are the same as the ones we used at Summer Xtreme, each with a NASA orange jumpsuit, and each with a different comical personality. Daddy wrote a script pretty late last night, and everyone rolled with it remarkably well. So glad to have talented actors that I can rely on!
The rest of the day was rest. We still have some to catch up on. There was Minecraft for Madison - she's into that lately. Also, a return to Disney Infinity. But for the most part: nothing much. We certainly made up for a lack of doing anything the last few days, and of course in the days to come. Every so often, it's good to take the afternoon off. This is precisely what we did.
Early to bed we were, and aside from some packing for an upcoming trip, there wasn't much accomplished towards church or even around the house. We're just that wiped out. We all are though - our friend Josh hit the bed hard, and all the workers are zonked, sleeping in tomorrow for sure. The day is supposed to be off, and we'll take that. But we still have a few plans at least. Those will wait until tomorrow.
