Humbug! Prep!

This morning, it was Bella Notte, even though it was still morning.  And like Buddy the Elf, apparently it's okay to serve spaghetti first thing.  That's what we woke up to, with Lady and the Tramp sharing a plate of Italian food at Tony's restaurant.  Or, at least we think it's Tony's restaurant.  The two servers there with mustaches look a bit familiar.

Today was the last day of wrap up for our new series "Humbug!"  This is the one that really counts, the one that Madison gets to see, and in fact be a part of.  Today we did a lot of preparation for the new series, with blocking, music, rehearsing somewhat, lighting, and all kinds of costuming too.  Also, Mommy finished up the display case.

Daddy likes this one a lot, mainly because she ordered some "Mickey's Christmas Carol" characters to put on the shelves.  You can see them on the middle shelf there, the one above the Victorian village.

So it was a lot of preparation today.  Madison helped out throughout the day, with cleaning, putting things in chairs, and getting the booklets ready.  She's a good helper!

We went home pretty late, but we're ready for tomorrow.  It should be a great day.  We had plans on seeing a play tonight, but things ran late with this set-up, and to be honest, we needed a good night's rest.

We went home, did a bit of reading, and pretty much went to bed right away.  Everyone is exhausted, but tomorrow is going to be great, as we're ready, and we're getting a good night's rest.
