Airport

Madison was quite at home today in the office after school - we had an airport there, where she and her friend Matthew were flying paper airplanes all over.  You can see our other friend Kellan seated above, essentially playing the role of air traffic controller.  Ever since she's learned how to make one, Madison has been rivaling Boeing in her airplane production.  Incidentally, why would anyone name an airplane company with a word that sounds like boing?

With the new series on the way, it was work, work, work today.  We watched "Groundhog Day" tonight, mainly because we knew we wouldn't have much time tomorrow night.  Still, it's such a funny movie, and one with some great messages inside.

The wild weather continues:  the temperature has dropped, and there was talk of some ice today.  But again, we were let down by the forecast.  Actually, we don't want ice.  We want snow, and lots of it.  Bring it.

Our X-Box died.  We're 100% sure this is because of the game we just purchased recently:  Superhero Squad.  The game was evidently damaged, and now we don't have a working X-box.  It was a process of deduction that's pretty sound - our mistake was returning to plug the game in again.  Also in the"dead" category:  Daddy's car.  It needs a new battery or alternator.  Add this to the bad doctor's report for Daddy, and it's been one of those weeks.  Of course, the doctor's prognosis would not be staying up extremely late at night to get all this work done.  But that seems inevitable at this point.  Something's gotta' give, eh?
