So Madison found Jingle Bell this morning reading to all the other Christmas stuffed animals. He was on a rocker, reading about Buddy the Elf to all the others. It must have been enthralling, because they were all still there when everyone got up. You can see a present still under the tree as well - evidently Madison has been really good lately.
Indeed she has. She does listen, although there are spots where she needs reminding - particularly when it comes to scattering everything she has all over the kitchen, living room, upstairs - and well, pretty much everywhere. But from what I understand, that's a common ailment amongst children. We just remind and reward good behavior.
Speaking of "ailment," Madison's leg troubles seem to be over. She says she's fine - but we're still taking it easy on her. Today, we had her stay out of PE and recess, just to make sure everything is fine. And it seems to be. She was very healthy when running into the church today to visit Daddy. Here's a picture of her wearing a mustache that Daddy had to wear as one of his characters:
With the sunglasses there, she could be Hulk Hogan - or maybe Wilfred Brimley from those later parts in "Cocoon."
Tonight, before bedtime we watched "Babes in Toyland." We love this old movie very much, and Madison enjoyed it a lot as well. The reason for watching it tonight was because we plan on seeing it again tomorrow, as a ballet. It'll be a nice morning - first thing, we're heading down to Roswell for a Christmas treat!
