Here's Madison, holding one of KidPak's latest mascots, Putnam. Deemed not manly enough by the guys working the high steel, he was tossed off the side of a seven story building - causing much grief to one of our cast members. Fortunately, he was retrieved and bandaged up shortly afterwards. You can see he's still wearing a band-aid on his knee. If it wasn't for the mouth-to-mouth from Cookie, he might not have made it.
The audience loved Putnam, and he's somewhat of a celebrity all of the sudden. It's sort of out of nowhere, as we just picked him up at Goodwill on Friday after a lengthy casting call (we tried another Goodwill and saw plenty of other stuffed animals, but this one in particular seemed to just scream out at us). The rest is history. He'll be back in KidPak, probably sooner than later!
When asked about his name, and how it came to be, we can only say it is a slight inside joke. Those familiar with Facebook chat may get it, though others will probably take it for what it is: a slightly unusual name.
In the meantime, here's Madison's new design for a race car - take a look:
She used Handy Manny's website to decorate her own race car. Yes, we printed it out - it'll probably grace the refrigerator for a few weeks now. Nice car!
