Off Wednesday

Here's an interesting bit of mixed media from Maddie - you can see the photograph that these lengths of thread are woven into in order to create a larger creation.  Looks pretty cool!

I stayed home today... under the weather somewhat with these kidney stones and a bladder infection.  I had another test today, and yet another test tomorrow.  Lots o' tests!  But I did get that book finalized with the printer, and we should be good to go.

Maddie had FCY tonight.  I was in the parking lot afterwards and spotted her as I was waiting in the car.  Can you see her?  She had a good night.  Pastor Jacob spoke tonight about emotions and being careful to not let those guide you so much.  Maddie was happy to be with friends again tonight, and had some fun with everyone.

Mom was straightening out that basement - Holiday World.  It was pretty crowded down there, but she did a fantastic job fixing things up.  We're getting some things cleaned up too.  I was on the treadmill for a little bit, but not too much.  I think tomorrow's treadmill experience will be interesting in the hospital.  We'll see how things go then, but I'm feeling fairly optimistic.  God is good.

Easter decorations are back up!  The garden flag, the front door wreath, and even Hoppy Hollow!  I'll have to decorate the egg tree soon enough, maybe this weekend.  For now, how great is it to see Hoppy Hollow back, the rabbit empire in new locations spread throughout the living room and piano room, small ceramic rabbits waving "hello" at us everywhere.  It's super fun, and I'm so glad I got this set a long time ago at the dollar store.

Tonight we saw "Rango" as Maddie was at FCY, and when she was done, we got to sleep early.  I have an early day tomorrow, so tonight we read from the theater - the mystery continues as the Phantom of the Opera continues his reign of terror.  Or is it the Phantom?  Hmmm... I have my suspicions.  One thing is for sure, Maddie and I want to watch "Phantom of the Opera" again.  For the time being, we read tonight, and we said our prayers.  Maddie and the Plush Entourage got to sleep down the hall.  I was actually asleep before Mom even got to bed - I was tired!
