Storm Chasers 2021

So we finally arrived at a graphic for our upcoming series, and sure enough, today turned out to be a pretty stormy day.  It got briefly very loud at our house, but beyond that terrifying sound, we were okay.  To our west, the state of Alabama seems to get the worst of it lately, these last two storefronts producing twisters and mayhem.  Some of the video footage is amazing.

Our series is moving forward, the new devotional now done.  I proofed that, and finished up the sermons as well, so we should have some great looking material for when things get started.   Our set should look great too, as we've been tossing around some ideas.  It's a return to a look we did the last time we did this series, and if it ain't broke...

The storms actually cut short Madison's taekwondo tonight, so we returned back to the house and simply waited for the storm front to come rolling overhead.  Until that time, we watched "Attack of the Clones," continuing our Star Wars viewing.  We're not obsessively watching, but we are watching these throughout the remainder of our series on stage.

Speaking of which, the new skit is done, and Madison has about five lines in it.  The younger cast members are speaking more, and next week, it will be more than that.  They're doing well, and I'm glad to have these young Rebels on stage!

It was a decent day today.  Rainy, of course.  All day.  And then scary storms tonight.  We read tonight, starting a new book, one that I have the entire series of:  "Kingdom Keepers."  Yes, we're going there.  I've never read this one to Madison, so it'll be fun going back to that first book.  It's the best of the series, really, and it should be fun rereading.

We also read from Exodus, and then we said our prayers.  Tonight I've been doing some work late too - getting some things ready for Easter.  It's that season again!
