The new Star Wars series is starting in a few days, and the costumes are all coming together. As you can see above, the crawl that will be shown us done, pretty much, the thing that sets up the ongoing series. The script for the first day was completed a day ago, but I was struggling with names for everyone. That is, until I started to think about the Battlefront II characters from the old Star Wars video game. This of course required "research," where Maddie and I were playing the game and looking for various Rebels to name the series after. And so now we have some names for our characters - our lead is Captain Nom Carver, and he's stuck on Hoth with Kyp Astar, Dax Olesa, Fin Urland and others. These characters aren't in any stories officially, so why not make them in our ongoing saga? Plus, the next time we pay Battlefront II, it'll have more meaning when you get sniped by Nom Carver!
It was early release today, but I wasn't released early at work - mainly because there was so much to do. Madison did have taekwondo tonight, which she enjoyed. She's been sparring with people more on her level now in black belt classes, so it's certainly been more challenging. Iron sharpens iron!
It was a sunny day today, but the pollen is super annoying. The Bradford Pear trees are starting to stink up the place, although their blooms are nice to see on the trees. It's a mix of lovely horrible.
We read tonight and we prayed tonight. Nana has had it rough the last few days, but we're doing our best. We were praying for her this evening, and not long after that, falling asleep pretty quickly. It's been a busy day for me. We've got to get up earlier tomorrow to get ready to go to the next immersion class, and that should be fun.
