Braselton

We finally made it over to Braselton today, to the new church campus.  We had a meeting today and heard from Pastor Barnett, which was as always a blessing.  It was basically a church service over there, and afterwards, the Edges gave us a tour of the KidPak area, and then the warehouse.  That's where my dinosaur currently can be found roaming about.

Afterwards, we had a lunch at a pretty neat restaurant there nearby, and after that we were on our way home.  It was a nice time.

Tonight was a longer night for martial arts with both her leadership class and her regular black belt class.  She's still getting to see some smaller ranked friends in the leadership class, but the black belt class is a whole new level for her.  It's a bit intimidating at times, but she's got friends there too, and she's enjoying it.

We read tonight and we prayed tonight.  The flowers are in bloom tonight on the trees, and the pollen is starting to creep into the atmosphere, making it Madison's least favorite season.  The Bradford Pear trees will be in bloom soon, and that will make somewhat worse, with the additional smell.  But right now, Madison is sniffling and taking her allergy medication in the morning.  The rest of us have the little cough and the sniffles and the dry eyes... ugh.

She's been doing well in school this week.  She's doing well with Spanish, and certainly doing great with Science too.  Each night she has this math homework that she has to keep up with, but she's maintaining that as well.  Her grades are moving upward, and she's making it look easy again.  I think things may get challenging again before the end of the year, but for now, she's doing well.
