Jedi Bunny

 

We had fun this afternoon with an early Easter egg hunt, one that was filmed for KidPak online.  Madison got to be involved with this one, part of a team with Jovanna against the boys team.  They all had the same clues, but in different orders, and the game was actually pretty close.  Lots of running around and complete and utter exhaustion!  It was pretty fun, and of course the Easter bunny showed up.  Since it is a Star Wars series, he was in a jedi robe this time too.  

Earlier in the day, Madison had her immersion class with taekwondo.  That's the two-hour class.  Madison was learning to do a backflip, and she's learning to do a lot of other things as well there too.  We weren't there to watch the whole time, as we were setting up some of the Easter things.  But she had a great time as always.

It was a full day today.  We got home, and were cleaning up the house some, and tonight we watched "The Ten Commandments."  Which is still a great movie.  Still!  Tonight, we prayed, and we read from Exodus, because it made sense to do that.  The Passover part is coming up soon, and it's always difficult to imagine sitting there inside the house, blood on the doorpost, and just listening to the sounds of death outside.  That's just one of the things done so well with the movie we watched tonight.  

Anyway, it was a good day today, but we're pretty zonked.  We're getting to bed early because tomorrow is a big day!
