Christmas Board Game

Ah!  Each year Jingle Bell and Snowflake get with some friends to play a board game, and it looks like that's what happened this morning as they're playing a DVD boardgames, one based on Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.  It's a fun little game, actually.  Maddie, Mom and I play it each year.  These old DVD games were popular for a season, but I don't seem to see them much anymore, not that I'm actively looking.  But we do have a few still, and they're still fun to play.

Today was a fairly busy day for Maddie, who went from school to a performance at Edge Martial Arts.  She was performing with Team Edge for their first official demonstration since the summer, and somewhat of a warm-up to Edgestravaganza on Friday.  The team did really well!

Then it was off to FCY of course, and Maddie enjoyed that as always.  She got a ride home with Emma, and that was nice.  I had to be home tonight because of some preparations for a procedure for tomorrow - it's the sort of preparation that makes you stay close to the bathroom.  We'll see how things go tomorrow, but it always comes out fine in the end.  So to speak.

We still made time to read tonight, and we also said our prayers of course.  And then it was time for some sleep.  Not much for me - I have to get up at 3:45 and start this cycle of pills and water and pills and water and pills and water and... goodnight!
